The first week of November marked the date of the CFDA Awards where the Slaysians (Prabal Gurung being a member) won the Positive Social Influence Award. Here is what Prabal had to say about the achievement:
"We didn’t realize that it took courage for us to come together, to show up for one other and the community - and ultimately to show up for ourselves and our own souls.
We followed our hearts.
We followed love.
After all, isn't love the very first act of courage? To embrace that feeling of unconditional acceptance - which is the truest form of love - is the only way we can be courageous.
So to everyone at CFDA and in this industry - thank you to all of you for the love. With utmost gratitude and humility we are honored to receive the Positive Social Influence Award at tonight’s CFDA awards."
